aquaponics farming system

Hey kids! So I wanted to get your guys attention, because i am literally trying a sweet thing called ped farming.. which we shall discuss today. Aquaponics. This is really interesting, that we can cultivate vegetables and fishes in same system. Isn’t that amazing?

You might be thinking that growing fish and plants together is weird? Aquaponics on the other hand… yep super easy! That fish swimming in the water gives your plants nice healthy nutrients. Then, the plants filter water to a fish-safe and clean level. It's a community, everyone got each other bag they are making sure it is a more life friendly place!

Growing fish and vegetables together

Aquaponics is such a cool way to farm and takes up far less space than traditional farming techniques. And that´s why you are using much water does a plant need in “normal agriculture” so they do not die. Since we recycle the water, there is no waste. Traditional farming is land hungry which can not be appropriate particularly in city environments. In short, Aquaponics is simply growing more food in less space. That's good for the planet, since it means we' re leaving fewer resources in — and recycling while hybrids aren't. // Hybridautos & greentechmedia

Like fish, plants grow in water. These can sit on the water in rafts or otherwise grow in beds filled with materials such as gravel, clay pebbles, etc. Ultimately, it makes plants more open with nutrients. Water (from the fish tanks) being pumped up to the plants, and roots pulling all those delicious nutrients from that lovely waste produced by your wee water pets. This water is then cleansed by plants and follows again down to fish. This turns into a beautiful system where the fish live in and amongst some of these plants.
